GSPS Student Guide - Creative Activities

Screen shot from the system showing the Creative Activities screen

In the "Creative Activities" section, you can list any creative works or projects you have been involved with. The "Creative Activities" section is important for students in the arts, but may not apply to you. You can use the structured form provided, or if you would like to type in the creative activities information yourself, you can click the "Enter Text in One Box" button to change the form. After you have entered the information about the creative activity, be sure to click the "Save" button. Your new creative activity listing will appear in the box labeled "Current Creative Activities" at the bottom of the screen.

Once a listing appears in your "Current Creative Activities" box, you will be able to edit or delete that listing by clicking the buttons adjacent to the listing.

Creative activities can also be assigned a heading - basically a classification for the creative activity. If you choose to leave the "Special Heading" field set to none, your creative activity will appear under a "Creative Activities" heading.

You can use basic HTML tags, such as <b>bold</b>, <i>italic</i>, and <u>underline</u> in your listing. This is especially useful in controlling the formatting when entering text in the one big box.

Creative activities are part of a yearly assessment for students in the arts, but may not apply to students from other disciplines. Creative activities can be added to your CV.
